Description: Shooting for 1 day. Advertising, Collateral and Publicity use of 12 images for 1 year. However, the images would primarily be for use on the album cover and in the album booklet. Pictures may be used on billboards, commercials, and in magazines.
Job Estimate Questions
1. Which estimate did you choose?
Album cover and collateral for rock band
2. Explain how the licensing worked for your estimate?
"Advertising, Collateral and Publicity use of 12 images for 1 year." Most pictures will be used in album booklet.
3. What was the total cost for the job? Was that a surprising amount?
5,900 dollars. Yes, the equipment and digital tech costed more than I would have expected.
4. What were some of the main items that added to the cost of the shoot that you might have not thought of? Why would they be important?
Digital tech, assistant days, and color correction. These are important because assistants help set up the photo and make it look better. Digital tech and color correction improve how the picture looks overall and makes it stand out more.
5. What were the costs and time estimates for both technology on set and post production?
On set: 2000$, one shoot day
Post production: 3900, five days
